Worship Mission Stream

Our calling is to increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love.

The Worship Mission Stream:
• seeks to enable people to come into the presence of God, to meet with God, to receive and respond through worship that takes place in our churches and in the community

​

• encourages people to respond to God's call to become Worship Leaders or Local Preachers, co-ordinating their training, continuing development and support in co-operation with the Local Preachers' and Worship Leaders' Meeting

​

• enables us to worship together as a Circuit, overseeing the compilation of the preaching plan and planning and co-ordinating Circuit services: Advent, Covenant, Lent and Holy Week services, celebrations to welcome newly accredited Local Preachers and present long-service certificates, services of welcome and services of farewell

​

• supports consultations on worship in churches

​

• seeks to build close relationships, encouraging the sharing of ideas and resources, joint working, themed preaching, creative prayer and local worship - discerning, strengthening and using the gifts of local church members
