CPRE Bedfordshire would like to invite churches across Bedfordshire to apply for the 2021 Living Countryside Awards.

The awards celebrate the people and projects that have a positive impact on Bedfordshire's rural environment and urban green spaces.

The awards may be particularly relevant to churches currently registered with A Rocha UK’s Eco Church programme. However, individual church members may also be involved with, or know of, eligible projects.

Rev Chris Sandy

Chris Sandy

The Revd. Chris Sandy will be the Minister with pastoral oversight for the Scallop group of Churches from September 2021.

Chris says:

I was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and presently studying for my PhD on Cross-cultural leadership in the Methodist Church in Britain. I am very excited to a part of and to serve in this Circuit, where I expect to see God's faithfulness doing exploits in the life of the Church and the community in general.

During my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, or go for a walk, in order to experience the beauty of nature.

Every blessing.
